Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

• Day : 1 Arrive Srinagar – Shikara Ride.

  Welcome to Srinagar, The Lake City. On arrival at the Srinagar airport, a representative of the Travel Budget agent will be there to greet you who will then escort you to a jetty around Dal Lake. After check-in and lunch at the houseboat, you can relax for a while. The highlight of the first day of your Kashmir tour package is Shikara ride to the Nehru Park in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay will be in the houseboat in Srinagar. The houseboat at Dal is going to be your romantic abode for the first night of your Kashmir package. Distance from Srinagar Airport to Dal Lake: 24 km Travel Time: 40 minutes

• Day : 2 Srinagar, Pahalgam

  Day 2 of your Kashmir tour package starts with a delicious breakfast in the houseboat, after which you will be transferred to Pahalgam. Pahalgam is Located at 2,133 mts, it is also known as ‘The valley of Shepherds’ or ‘Trekker's Paradise’. Pahalgam is the most famous place for Indian Film Industry. Enroute visit Saffron fields, see the beautiful countryside on the way and lots of rice fields. On the way, you can stop at Martand Sun Temple - a popular tourist attraction. Arrive at Pahalgam and transfer to the hotel. After lunch, have bridle walks and feed your cameras with the picture of magnificent views of mountains. The evening is free for you to explore the surroundings and relax or one can go for RAFTING (at your own). Dinner & Overnight stay at the hotel in Pahalgam.

• Day : 3 Pahalgam Sightseeing and Exploration

  Note : In Pahalgam outside vehicles are not allowed for sightseeing. Only local taxis can roam around within Pahalgam city. All outside vehicles will pick up & drop from Hotel. After breakfast, depart for an excursion trip to Chandanwadi (on your own), the starting point of Amarnath Yatra & Betab valley (on your own). Located on the way to Chandanwari, the valley was named Betaab after the Bollywood movie by the same name! Earlier known as Hajan Valley, after the release of the movie, it was renamed, as a major part of the movie was shot here. Post lunch (on your own) or as time permits, proceed for a trip to Aru Valley (on your own). Aru Valley is a tourist spot located about 11 km from Pahalgam. Noted for its scenic meadows, and mountains, it is a base camp for trekking to the Kolahoi Glacier and Tarsar Lake. The village lies on the left bank of the Aru river, which is a tributary of the Lidder river. Dinner & Overnight stay at the hotel in Pahalgam.

• Day : 4 Pahalgam-Gulmarg,srinagar (Day excursion to Gulmarg)

  Check-in and get ready at Srinagar hotel to explore the next destination of your tour i,e Gulmarg. Gulmarg is one of the most beautiful hill stations in Jammu & Kashmir and also called Meadow of Flowers. It has the world’s highest golf course (World’s Highest) and is also famous for Gondola ride, winter sports skiing etc Here you can enjoy the serene surroundings and have lunch at a local restaurant and head for the famous Gondola ride that takes you towards Apharwat via Kongdori. The ride will give you some of the most mesmerizing views of the tallest peaks of Gulmarg. After the Gondola ride, you will be transferred to your hotel in Srinagar for dinner, and overnight stay. This concludes day 4 of your Kashmir itinerary.

• Day : 5 srinagar-sonemarg (Leisure day at sonemarg)

  After breakfast, leave for a day excursion to Sonmarg, which is the most beautiful drive from Srinagar. On the way, you stop at many beautiful spots. Continue drive to Sonamarg located at 2690 Mtrs (Meadow of Gold). You can opt for a pony ride at the Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year. Enjoy a delightful lunch at a local restaurant and go for sightseeing tours like zero point, baaltal(both at your own). In the evening, you will be transferred back to the hotel in Srinagar for dinner and overnight stay. Distance from Srinagar to Sonamarg: 80 km Travel Time: 1 hour 45 minutes per side

• Day : 6 Explore srinagar (City Sightseeing)

  After breakfast, proceed to sightseeing tour of Srinagar. Visit the popular tourism attractions in Srinagar like Mughal Gardens, Nishat Bagh (The garden of pleasure), Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love) and The Chasme Shahi Garden along with Hazratbal Dargah. The evening is free for shopping. Dinner and overnight stay at srinagar

• Day : 7 Departure from Srinagar

  Head back with beautiful memories of your Kashmir tour. Have breakfast at your hotel in Srinagar. After check-out, you will be transferred to the Srinagar Airport for your return flight. This concludes your package tour to Kashmir. Distance from Srinagar to Srinagar Airport: 15 km Travel Time: 30 minutes Important Information : Due to strict security, you are requested to leave from the hotel at least 4 hours before the departure time. \ You will have to pass 4 security barriers before reaching the airport. This often leads to long traffic jams right outside the airport.
